Are they freezer-safe?
Yes — the material withstands freezer temperatures without becoming brittle.

How airtight is the seal?
Very effective for typical food bags. For ultra-airtight sealing of coffee or items that require vacuum, dedicated vacuum sealers are still better — but for everyday kitchen use, these clips keep food fresh significantly longer than knots, rubber bands, or twist ties.

Will they work on thick bags like dog food?
Yes — the spring is strong enough for thick paper or plastic pet food bags up to about 9 cm wide at the sealing point.

Are they food-safe?
The material doesn't come into direct contact with food (it grips the outside of the bag), and the PETG/PLA filaments used are food-safe materials.
